The Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet is designed with safety in mind, following guidelines from Red Nose Australia and INPAA. Key features include:
- Breathable mesh sides for optimal airflow, reducing the risk of suffocation or overheating.
- Firm mattress for safe sleep, ensuring proper support for your baby.
- High sides (30cm) made from sturdy steel to prevent falls and increase safety.
- Lightweight (2.2kg) and portable, perfect for travel.
For safe use:
- Place the bassinet on a flat, stable surface.
- Avoid extra bedding or accessories.
- Discontinue use once your baby begins rolling (around 8 weeks).
- For correct and safe use of mosquito net, please ensure the net is attached securely to buttons located on the outside of the bassinet and fully extended over the outside frame. When the net is not in use, please detach completely from the bassinet and store separately. DO not place whole net or partial net (one side of the net) inside bassinet when net is not in use.
Although no specific safety standards exist in Australia, the bassinet meets safe sleep practices recommended by Red Nose and INPAA.
