The ellska Skye Cot is suitable for use from birth. 

We recommend converting your ellska Skye Cot into a toddler bed (using the Junior Sideguard rail) once it is developmentally appropriate, or once they outgrow their cot, but not before age 2 years plus for safety. Once in the toddler bed configuration, your child can use the cot until they outgrow it.

The ellska Skye Cot has two mattress heights.

For newborns, the mattress should be set at its highest position (up to about 6 months). Once your baby can sit up independently, lower the mattress to its lowest setting to ensure safety and comfort.

In the lowest setting, your child can continue using the cot until they’re ready to transition to a toddler bed.

Please note that our Junior Sideguard safety rail and our Deluxe Cot Mattress are sold separately. However, we do offer bundle options with Skye for additional savings.
