To help you choose the right size HugMe blanket, we recommend reviewing the size guide to ensure the best fit based on your mattress dimensions.

The HugMe Blanket is designed for oval or rectangular mattresses, but it is not suitable for round bassinets. If your bassinet is larger, we also offer the Bedside Sleeper size, which may be more suitable for wider bassinet mattresses.

For safety reasons, the HugMe Blanket should fit snugly over the end of the mattress, like a sleeve, with the fabric positioned no higher than your baby’s mid-chest. Your baby’s feet should be touching the end of the bassinet or cot for the most secure fit.

While our HugMe Blankets have some stretch, we strongly advise against sizing up, as a firm fit is crucial for your baby’s safety. If your mattress is up to 4cm narrower or wider than standard sizes, the blanket can still be used safely, as long as the mattress depth is within a standard range.

Always ensure your mattress has a firm surface for your baby’s safety and comfort.
