While drop-side cots are allowed in Australia if they meet safety standards, they have been banned in the US due to safety concerns. This is to ensure safer sleep environments for babies and reduce the risk of accidents associated with drop-side cribs. In light of this, we made the decision to exclude the drop-side feature from our Lyra Cot design, prioritising the safety and well-being of your baby. Our fixed-side design provides a more secure and stable sleeping environment.
