When should I stop using a Sleeping Bags / Pouches?Updated 3 months ago

The transition from a sleeping bag to a Sleep Suit Bag or Sleep Onesie is a personal choice. Many toddlers make the switch once they start walking and want more leg freedom in the cot. However, it's common for children to continue using a sleeping bag or sleep suit bag until they transition to a big bed with blankets—usually not before 2 years of age. For more details, check out our Cot-to-Bed Transition Guide.

Once your child becomes comfortable with blankets, they can stop using their pouch. Most children make this transition between 2.5 and 4 years old, but some may continue to use their sleeping bag or sleep suit for longer if they prefer. Our size range accommodates children up to 6 years in the Premium Sleeping Bag, 8 years in the Sleep Suit Bag, and 10 years in the Sleep Onesie.
